Troll Lord Games, makers of the fantastic Castles & Crusades, details their efforts to divorce the OGL from their games and come out with a 10th Edition of the Player Handbook for their game this year, plus many other fun notes about what it is like running a game company.
It is excellent reading, and I can't wait for the 10th Edition to drop without the OGL. C&C is on a secondary shelf as I work through Open 5E news and releases, but this will always be on my play shelves. If you want a no-fuss, character-card-driven, simple, highly compatible kitchen sink d20 fantasy game - this is the one to get.
