Good news from the Player's Guide 2 Kickstarter over on the Kobold Press front, the Theurge, Vanguard, and Witch classes in that book are being added to the Black Flag System Reference Document (BF-SRD). This is a generous gift to the community and a significant step by the Kobolds to keep the game open for creators. This way, third-party creators can create expansions for these classes, such as new spells and other content.
They are truly building a second pillar to the 5E community, while remaining compatible with it, they are creating a system that stands on its own. I hope this Kickstarter reaches all its stretch goals and more, as we need a solid alternative to D&D for the community, and ToV is an excellent stand-alone system.
Everything in this book is also 5E compatible, so it remains valuable to those who play either the 2014 or 2024 D&D editions. Those three new classes work in any 5E game.
