It is survival time here in the OSR community. Here is another one, Basic Fantasy is removing the OGL and rewriting the game to create a clean-room version.
This is getting nauseating that Wall Street would do this to an entire gaming genre and creative community.
But the community will be better off for throwing the OGL in the garbage. The bridge is burned. Even if the company later says, "we didn't mean this!" - the damage is done, and the trust is gone.
Rethink supporting those who would do this sort of seismic damage to people and their dreams.
