I like the old B/X race as class thing sometimes, but I also love me some devils & demons. And yeah, the one save thing is a genius modification. So I bounce back & forth.Persimmonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02966572602767972805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1416711173787849157.post-59679276498337117692021-08-07T07:37:54.110-07:002021-08-07T07:37:54.110-07:00Ah! Would love to see these as themed expansions, like "Heaven and Hell" or "The Savage World" with spells, classes, and other material to support the new creatures and themes. That would be an absolute blast and take the game in new (and optional) directions.Hakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08597777050200216937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1416711173787849157.post-83343945871421048122021-07-09T22:15:33.412-07:002021-07-09T22:15:33.412-07:00Gavin said he was going to do a separate "gen...Gavin said he was going to do a separate "genre" book with the devils & demons in it. Just thought there were too many to add in what they were putting out and they'd fit better as a separate book. Doing the same thing with dinosaurs & other prehistoric animals, though a few of those made it in to OSE.Persimmonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02966572602767972805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1416711173787849157.post-32913185189684937222021-06-19T10:31:10.905-07:002021-06-19T10:31:10.905-07:00I know, I am not happy about that. Not including them feels like a huge omission in content and the game's history.

Agreed on the word choice mistake, I was thinking more "demons are a part of BX, therefore removed from OSE-A's version of BX." You are correct, not included is better phrasing when speaking about OSE in general.

-HakHakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08597777050200216937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1416711173787849157.post-33098322942715932112021-05-27T09:46:35.857-07:002021-05-27T09:46:35.857-07:00Poor choice of words. They just were not "included".Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14051318156498045958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1416711173787849157.post-58899405138669071852021-05-27T09:08:30.407-07:002021-05-27T09:08:30.407-07:00Anyone know why the demons were removed from OSE A...Anyone know why the demons were removed from OSE Advanced? I just checked my Kickstarter PDFs for them after reading this, and yes, they ARE not there. That should have been a no-brainer addition.Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14051318156498045958noreply@blogger.com
